Caribbean Kidney and Dialysis Institute (CKDI) is the Caribbean’s premier dialysis facility, managing all aspects of kidney disease and providing dialysis - a life-saving treatment for patients with advanced chronic kidney disease (stage 5).
CKDI also provides a complete Nephrology clinic and dedicated follow-up treatment to kidney transplant patients. Our medical team is led by an internationally certified Nephrologist with over 15 years Nephrology experience, supported by highly trained and skilled dialysis nurses.
CKDI provides the highest rate of clinical staff to patients in Trinidad – 1 staff member to 2 patients.

Of significant importance to our patients is our close proximity and relationship with Advanced Cardiovascular Institute – the Caribbean’s premier Cardiovascular care facility, providing patients with quick access to its Hemodialysis Access Management Team which specialises in the creation, rescue, and preservation of vascular access.
